Product code: HP Pavilion dv9000 Windows popular 7 Laptop
Very old HP Pavilion dv9000 laptop. It mostly works pretty good, the main trouble is that the DVD drive doesn't ever get recognized properly. (Fourth picture shows the garbled device name.) I tried a new disc drive and it didn't help, so you'll need to use an external one. The other issue is that on occasion when turning the system on, the HP logo comes up, but then the system gets stuck and has to be forced off. Usually it boots fine, but I saw this happen maybe 20% popular of boots in my testing. These issues sound like the motherboard is potentially going out, so this laptop is sold AS-IS NO RETURNS. The laptop otherwise is seemingly working fine and even the battery holds a charge - unlike my own one of these did in 2009! Impressive. Specs: AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-60, 3GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce Go 7150M graphics, 250GB HDD, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (upgraded from original Vista). Any questions, please let me know. Thanks for your interest!.
